Choose a grass type and climate to see each month's lawn-care tasks in Australia. The calendar is drawn from the same 26 grass type and climate combinations as LawnSuite's Pro year-round programs.
A lawn's care tasks aren't random through the year, feeding, weed and pest pressure, disease risk and mowing height all shift with the seasons, and the seasons themselves shift with climate and with whether a grass grows in the warm months or the cool ones. This tool shows that seasonal shape for your grass type and climate: which tasks fall in each month, and why.
Dated tasks, weather postponement for eligible scheduled jobs and a record of what has been done come from your own measured lawn. LawnSuite Pro builds that program from your zones.
A Buffalo lawn in a Subtropical climate shows a Feeding window across most months, a Pre-emergent weed window in March and again in August, a Weed check across May to July, and a Renovation window and Pest check both landing in September. A cool-season blend (Other grasses) in a Temperate climate instead shows its Renovation window in March and September too, but its own Feeding window spreads across the year rather than pausing for any one season.
| Task type | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Feeding window | A period when feeding fits the grass's growth cycle. |
| Pre-emergent weed window | The period before weed seeds germinate. |
| Weed check | When weed growth picks up. |
| Pest check | When pest pressure rises. |
| Disease watch | When disease pressure rises. |
| Renovation window | A period suited to overseeding, dethatching or aerating. |
| Mowing height change | When a height change suits the growth cycle. |
| Soil moisture check | When soil moisture is worth checking before watering. |
Plant growth regulator (PGR) use depends on the product, grass and intended use, so it sits outside this calendar; the product's current Australian label sets how and when it is used.
Each window is month-level timing for your grass type and climate. Your microclimate, this season's weather, your soil and your lawn's history set the exact week.
Size sets how much product to use, which the Rate Calculator and Sprayer Calibration tools work out from your label rate. Soil can move timing too, and the app builds programs for your own measured zones.
Picking your climate directly uses the same six climate labels as the LawnSuite app, and lets you choose the one that matches your own conditions.

Yes. Several task types can genuinely fall in the same month, and some months for some grass type and climate combinations have none. Both are the real shape of the data, not a display gap.
The calendar covers 26 grass type and climate combinations. A cool-season blend (Other grasses) is included for Temperate, Cool Temperate, Mediterranean and Arid climates, and Tropical covers Buffalo and Couch. Try a different grass type or climate above.
